Yesterday morning I woke up in a normal way...with my son Kallsen in the bed next to me talking with his Mommy. I usually ask that Kallsen not press up against me while I try and catch just a few more minutes of sleep before my alarm goes off. (My wife gets up around 6am each morning and I get up at 6:30 most mornings.)
Kallsen starts to tell me he has boogies in his nose. His Mom tells him to clean out his nose...a few moments go by and I hear Kallsen say, "I dropped it!" Mommy asks what he dropped. He answers "My Boogie!" Kallsen then tells me, "I've dropped my boogie in your bed!"
Needless to say, I didn't get to sleep until my alarm went off. We never did find the boogie. We did, however, strip the bed and wash sheets last night.
