Oconee Trip

My parents came to visit this weekend. They came in part because it was Parker's 3rd birthday and because they wanted to see their whole South Carolina family. It was a quick visit, lasting Thursday night through Sunday morning. On Friday, while the kids were at school and Sara Beth was working, I took my parents to Chua Ram Park. One of three county parks.

This park is 10 minutes from our house. Oconee County is in the 'Golden Corner' of South Carolina. It has three huge man made lakes and several rivers that are popular for kayaking. One of the local lakes has hosted Pro Bass Fishing Tournaments and is one of the most picturesque areas of South Carolina.
