Last night Parker had a temp of 101.9 and the fever broke sometime over night. When we got up this morning, Parker's temp was 103. It was too late for Sara to get a sub for the day so I stayed home with Parker and took him to the doctor. We were sent to X-ray because they thought there was a chance Parker had pneumonia.
He doesn't have pneumonia, but he does have some sort of infection in his lungs. He is now on three kinds of medicine until the end of the week. Hopefully, he'll be okay soon.
While his fever has been high, his demeanor has been good all along. Smiling and giggling. He has only been fussy when his been hungry. If his fever is down tomorrow, he'll be able to go to school. If not, he'll go to work with me.

Oh my goodness! I am glad he is going to be okay.
Poor baby. It's hard when the little ones are sick and can't tell you what's wrong. And it's hard when they have fevers. Derek's ears hurt. I know this because he woke up crying, hasn't wanted to drink from a bottle all day, and when we put "liquid novacain" in his ears, he was quiet immediately and went back to sleep. It's back to the doctor tomorrow!

Glad to hear that Parker is doing better. Hoping he has a speedy and full recovery!
Parker seemed all better last night. Then this morning he began vomiting again and his fever is back. And i'm having a hard time getting him to take his medicine.
