This next picture is probable one that Joseph wouldn't want me to post. But it really is kind of funny. They made the kids all wear the helmet while waiting to do some vibration training. That's where the astronauts deal with strange vibrations and movement while trying to control the rockets they used to use to go to outer space before the space shuttle.

Astronaut Training
Space Camp included Astronaut Training. This first picture is of Joseph in the Orbitron. I love this picture. Joseph was a real trooper in doing this. There is some video at the bottom of the post of Joseph going round and round,

Space Camp Fun
The Space Camp trip was just as much fun as one would imagine. There's everything from rocket building to parachute construction to landing a space shuttle to training to be an Astronaut. Joseph had a great time. And I will admit, I had just as much fun...watching him learn and grow.
This first picture is what is on the doors as you first walk into Space Camp.
When we were getting ready for the fun to begin, Joseph was trying his best not to smile as Dad took pictures.
Joseph was part of a group of four, the other three boys all friends from school, for the three days at Space Camp.
