Why, Hello There...

Sunday afternoon, shortly after the Direct TV guy had left and my wife and I were playing with the HiDef, something happened that really caught us off guard.

Kallsen and Parker were in our bedroom watching Dora or Diego. They came into the living room and said there was a dog in our house. My wife told Parker (the one that offered in the info) that no, there wasn't a dog in the house. The boys looked at their Momma and said, "oh, okay". They then went back into our bedroom.

Shortly there after, a large black and white dog came walking out of the boys bedroom and into the living room! Apparently the dog walk into the house when we were 'airing' it out. It was a nice day and we had the front and back door open to create a nice cross breeze. Low and behold...a dog came in with the breeze!

Momma and Daddy had to tell the boys we were sorry for not believing them.

Of course, this gets me to thinking, if other things the boys tell us - like stories of 'imaginary friends' - how real are they to the boys? If they so easily accepted the answer, 'There's not a dog in our house.'

Makes you wonder.

Wow! Funny ... and a bit scary. And yes, it does make you wonder what else.

it makes me think of the children's song that ann murray sings...there's a hippo in the driveway...the other thing it makes me think of is how truth is stranger than fiction....

the boys acceptance of your response is fascinating and then it also makes me think of my not believing you when you told me once that there was somebody at the front door!!

now there is a laugh for you ad!
