I was once one or the other. Not both.
Last night Joseph and I were talking about major cities. Joseph then informed me he wants to live in Los Angeles. I ask him why and his answer, "Because if you live in LA you're either rich or famous." I told him that I once lived in Los Angeles. He said he knows. I said was I rich or famous. He looks at me quizzically with his head cocked to one side thinking. Then he responds..."You might have been famous. Maybe rich. But I know you were never rich and famous."
There you have it. Probable I was famous. Might have been rich. But I was never Rich and Famous.

Interesting... now you know.
I have a thought...perhaps fame is dependent on what others think of a person..or are willing to pay a person for what they do..or how makind benefits from someone's contribution....
rich for me has little to do with money and all to do with enjoying life..money can buy whatever you want but it can't get you whatever you want...
It is the responsibility of the young to keep us humble.
