All three boys went to the dentist yesterday. Both Parker and Kallsen have a partial cavity and Joseph needs braces. So in February Joseph will have his first visit to the orthodontist.
We've known that Joseph will need braces...it's now time.
Good luck to all the boys in their dental-adventures.
As a semi-related topic : I'm still trying to brush Tommy's teeth without walking away, saying to myself, "I did a bad job. I am a bad parent". Tommy is typically less then cooperative with teeth brushing.
Wow. How does he feel about that? Amelia thinks it will be great when it is her turn, but we'll see what she thinks when it really happens. It will be a while for her yet as she still has several teeth to lose.
The hole brushing teeth has been an on going battle. Joseph has no cavities. At all. He has never had them. And the dentist was amazed because the dentist told Joseph that he needs to take better care of his teeth because of the amount of plaque and tarter on his teeth.
The little ones go back in march to have their cavities taken care of.
It's a bummer that the boys have cavities. At least they sound small. I could acutally SEE the holes in Davey's teeth before I brought him in and then he had to be put under to have them filled. Derek, so far, has been lucky. Brushing teeth is a nightly battle at our house. You can tell Joseph that I loved having braces so much, I had them twice!! :)
good luck on the ortho appointment..that is a big deal and I hope Joseph is looking forward to it...all three of you kids had braces and you all did really well with them..and you all have beautiful smiles..
and sweeties kallsen and parker .. when will they have their first fillings done?
