Small Spaces

Parker has always enjoyed being in a basket or some sort of small space. I think it might be comforting to him. This first picture was taken in Iowa in November of 2006. Kallsen and Parker got into a small basket and played.
In this next picture, taken in March 2007, Parker makes himself at home in a block box. He spent nearly an hour in that box that day.
Parker has now found a new place to hang out. This next picture shows where he decided to hang out while Daddy was cleaning the kitchen.

that's the nice thing about children.....they are happy with what is there.....no expensive toys needed.....I remember a boy who loved to play with a peanut butter jar cap and make circles on a rug that had a nap...

Parker is gorgeous!! My boys like to play in cupboards and open and close the doors - on themselves, and each other.

Cute picture. I can't believe how OLD he looks! He is really growing up! (but not too old to play in the drawer!)

We have a double door space in his dresser...where the doors swing open. Parker likes to empty that space and crawl in and hide. He thinks it the funniest thing ever...

Isn't that great?! Christopher and Amelia used to do that too. Ok, Amelia still does it from time to time - she just needs to find a little bigger places!
