A 1,200 mile difference.

Yesterday was December 1st, 2007. Below are two pictures both taken on Saturday. The first one is me leaf blowing in my back yard. The second one is of my Dad getting ready to snow blow the driveway. There's a is a 1,200 mile difference.

I love this picture of my Dad. I can understand his thoughts as he ponders why the snow blower won't start. And I can feel the cold. And taste the snow. And I remember having to shovel snow. And I don't have to shovel snow here. It may snow. If it does, it will be gone the next day.

Thanks, Adam. Actually, I prefer snow to leaves at this time of year. There were a few leaves under the snow in the corners of the deck.

And to think that Sunday at the Seneca Christmas parade others were saying that it 'felt like Christmas' this weekend.

Yeah, it felt like Christmas here too, but we actually had Christmas weather!

Dad...I guess there's a choice between a leaf blower and a snow blower. I'm going with a leaf blower.

Kara...we had Christmas weather on Sunday. It was in the mid 40s and a bot cloudy. It even looked like it might rain!

In fact it was so cold here that I had the boys wear their jackets when we played outside on Sunday afternoon. They didn't need their jackets on Saturday...but then again, they were wearing long sleeve shirts.

Merry Christmas!
