Pnuemonia in May

That's right. Parker has pnuemonia in his lower right lung. Kallsen woke me up about 1am this morning. He was telling me that Parker was hot. Sure a enough. He continued to run a fever until 11:30am when it reached 102.8. I called the doctor and off we went. With no real reason for the high temp, the doctor tested Parker's blood and took xrays. This was all amazing to Kallsen especially since it wasn't happening to him. After all was said and done, we came home Parker went sleep and Kallsen decided that he wasn't sleepy and wanted to eat cereal instead. As you can see that didn't last long. He fell asleep within 5 minutes of sitting down.

Wishing Parker a speedy recovery - poor little guy. How does one get/catch pneumonia?

(and that is a cute picture of Kallsen ... er, Bob).

Poor baby! How sweet that Kallsen came and got you. How do you suppose that Kallsen knew Parker was hot? What a good big brother!

Recently Kallsen moved to abig-boy bed (we took apart Joseph's bunkbed) and Parker moved to a toddler bed when we sold the crib.

Anyways...Parker has started crawling into bed with Kallsen. Why it keeps them up a little longer because they play, the boys sleep together and it is really cute.

Kallsen came into the our room and instead of crawling into bed with his momma or getting into he nest (we keep on the floor near our bed) he just wanted to let Momma know that Parker was hot. Sara Beth told me he would stop bugging her about Parker being hot until she was up out of the bed.

I'm just glad Kallsen had the know-how to do the right thing.

I love my boys.

From Mississippi...I'm A-J...and I approved this comment...

What a good little boy Kallsen is! How sweet that they are sleeping together. I used to crawl into bed with sarah roo sometimes when we were little...especially when there was a thunderstorm.
