Tripe Extra Large

Back in December I weighed myself on the 18th and was surprised to see the scale read 320 pounds. That very same day I decided to begin a weight loss program. I have also been blogging about that program. You can read about my loss of 35 pounds so far by clicking here.

Great job! These days I find there is nothing more difficult than "changing my ways" and doing things differently. You are obviously doing something different and for very noble reasons.

One reason you put yourself outthere...is to make it easier to change.

I remember years ago when we did a health program with the local YMCA in Union, SC. They weighed us every week on the radio and once a month they did a body fat analysis. Well with all your informaiton being broadcast to the community, you really had to bare down and make efforts. But once it was over and they were no longer doing that advertising package, I stopped my program and the weigh came back.

For historical reference...that was in 1999. When they began the program, I weighed 275 and when it was down six months later, I weighed 245. I remember being embarrassed about weighing 275. Now I just want to get to the point again...
