On Saturday night, my nephew wanted to go to his first 'all ages' show at 7th Street Entry at First Avenue in downtown Minneapolis. Neither my sister or brother in law were really crazy about him going downtown for a show....especially at 7th Street Entry. So I ended up being the adult escort to the show.When I was in high school we used to take the bus downtown after school to see shows (before we could drive) and then drove downtown to see shows after getting our license. The night ended up being a lot longer than I had hoped for but my nephew seemed to have a really good time. Needless to say, I'm not as young as I used to be...

You may not be as young as you used to be, but you're a really great uncle. Josh had a GREAT time! Even when I was 16 I wouldn't have gone myself! Thanks for being the cool uncle!
