I realize I haven't been updating the blog as much as I should. And with family living in several different states, I will try and start updating more often. These pictures of the boys were all taken within the past week....

Joseph has joined band this year. He is playing the trumpet.

Hooray for Joseph joining the band!! Being in the band in jr. high and HS provided some of my fondest memories of my earlier days! I hope he sticks with it and enjoys it!! If only Sam's school had a band program...
I think music is really an important part of learning and I wish I had taken a bigger interest in music as a child.

I couldn't agree with you more, AJ. I think it helps to enhance learning in other subjects. I just hope that when we move again, we can move to a place with a band program and Sam and James will be interested. I have a trumpet in perfect condition just waiting to be used...
