Last night was the final night of Estherville's Disc Golf league. I was the only player to show up other than Kallsen. And Kallsen doesn't really compete yet. Over the course of the 10 week league we had a high of five players and other than just me last night a low of two players.
With just me and Kallsen last night I decided to work on finger flips and rollers. So other than putts I threw everyshot using a finger flip or a backhanded roller. I did use a Upside Downer once or twice. While not the best round I've shot at the course (I hold the course record at 22 for nine holes) I did manage a 27 with two birdies and two bogies.

Playing an entire round with ff's and rollers is quite the commitment – especially, if you find yourself doing well, or poorly, it's hard not to "save the game" by going back to bh throws (backhanded).
I found that my fore-hand (f.h.) drive (for me, it is more involved than a finger-flip) did much better after having taken a few years off from the game. I have a better mental-game then I had previously, and found myself driving with an f.h. toss 300-350 feet.
Of course, drivers have gotten much better too.
I find I'm a better player now than I was years ago. I may not throw as far but my mental game is much better.
