10 Years Old

Joseph turned 10 on Monday. We did a family night of his choice. He wanted sandwiches from Subway and to watch Madagascar as a family. We then let him stay up for an hour past his bedtime to play his game cube.

He seemed to enjoy the night.

10 years old. Double digits. Three years until he's a teenager.

Hard to believe. It happens so fast. I can't believe Davey's going to start preschool! And you've got a double digit boy! Of course, Kara roo is talking about colleges....

I've got to admit, AJ, that although I remembered it was Joseph's birthday Monday, I failed to send a "Happy Birthday" wish. All of us here in MS hopes he had a wonderful birthday and is enjoying his first week being 10!

Sounds like he's going to be a real "Ladykiller" in a couple of years from your earlier post about the two neighborhood girls...

And by the way, AJ, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU on August 12th!

Kallsen and Parker start next week in a preschool program. Kallsen has proved in Georgia that he excells in a structured program. And I'm sure that Parker will also excell in that type of format.

Happy Birthday Adam and Joseph. I'm so sorry to hear of Parker's accident but glad it's not too serious.

I'm so looking forward to your Mom and Dad coming to visit. It's a pity that the visit has to be marred somwhat by those recent incidents.

I would like you and the rest of the family to be assured, that I and my family will take good care of them.

They are the most important and special visitors I have had in a long time.
