Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!! The cat is safe and being taken care of. I contacted our former landlord in Georgia this morning in order to ask the new tenants if they had seen Pumkinhead. It turns out that Pumpkinhead returned home and they have been looking after him. We are sending a friend over tonight to see about us getting Pumpkinhead back. (It shouldn't be a problem since the couple didn't really want a cat.) Hopefully everything will work out and we can go down next weekend and pick up our cat. I guess things are really working out after all. We will post later with more news once we have spoken to the couple in Georgia.

YES! Very good news!
Now...I'm not sure what it will take to get Pumpkinhead back. We may fly down and fly back, drive down and drive back or meet someone half way between here and Georgia.
Anyone we know in Georgia or South Carolina looking to make a road trip?

this is such great news adam and sara beth......I just got chills when you called this morning sara beth.......I am so happy for you guys!
Now we need suggestions to how to get him back with us safe and sound. We need some creative thinkers to help find away to get him from Georgia to Iowa.
Georgia is just far enough away where a weekend trip there and back is not an easy thing to do and meeting someone half way would work, but who can we call on to do such a thing?
Suggestions?
The most important thing is Pumpkinhead has been found and is OK!!! Getting him here is just a problem to be solved. I've talked with SB and Dave and we'll see if there's anything we can think of. It's very exciting!!!
