Disc Golf Close By
A second disc golf course is being put in the ground in Martin County, Minnesota (the county just north of emmitt county) and the KILR newsman just told me that he thinks there is a course at one of the parks in Estherville. If that is the case, then there will be three courses within a half hour drive or so from where we live. Cool.

In all seriousness, it will be nice to have Adam, Sarah and family a little bit closer. I have truly enjoyed my visits to the South (visiting a different state, meeting new people, seeing Adam, trying regional foods, painting walls, insulating an attic ... hey, wait a minute!), but with a busy work schedule and my own family commitments, it is hard to make the time to travel cross country. State to state is better.
... and if there should happen to be an area to picnic with the kids and an opportunity to teach them sportsmanship and aerodynamics, well ...
Family commitments. Like having your first child. Family commitments mean a whole lot more when there's a child. Good Luck Matt.
"Family commitments." It is an amazing time for me – to have the knowledge that I am about to be cast into an amazing and unbelievable experience. And to also have the knowledge that I do not know exactly what it is going to be like. Except that it will be great!
