Confirmed

I went hunting this afternoon after work and I found the Disc Golf Course I had heard about. Just on the outskirts of town. I plan to get the discs out sometime soon and play. I'm excited!

The picture is of hole #1. A short dogleg right, 263 feet from tee to the hole. I'm think a slightly beat up XD should do the trick.

On another note, the course looks very nice. Not a long challenging course but a nice course that will be a pleasure to play.

I am so excited for you adam. Do we still have some discs of yours at home? Let us know and we can get them back to you!!

Ooh. Ahh. Very cool.

I agree, a slightly beat up XD would certainly do the trick. (Although I find that there are not many who know what an XD is anymore. Sigh).

If you are in need of a few discs, and do not have any at your parent's house, let me know. (Ahem) I may have one or two laying around.

Matt,

I may not have any discs available...maybe a weekend in July?

So there is a course (possible two) in Fairmont, a course in Spencer and one in Estherville. Three of four courses within a half hour drive. Not bad and certainly better than anywhere I've lived in the past 10 years.

That's great Adam. A great thing to get back into, and how nice that Matt is close enough to play with you. :) I'm glad you're so close, too! (And I don't know what an XD is either...is that even what you called it?)

How wonderful! That will be so nice for you.

An XD is the name of best approach golf disc made (at least on the market when I played regularly 10 or more years ago.)

I understand that most of the discs I have are no longer made and no longer available. I guess you might call them antiques.

my son is not old enough to use the word antique in relationship to something he "played" with as a teenager.......: )

Got that right!
