Everything is a lesson. If not, it's an achievement.

While there may be better ways to say it, the above is correct. No regrets.

you know adam...it is correct..we learn from everything we do and everything we don't do..it is what living consciously is all about...and we are always making choices even when we think we aren't..there is a saying....Not to decide, is to decide...these are some of your mother's thoughts early in the morning...it is a good feeling to not have regrets..

Good for you. I agree.

Happy for you Adam.

I think when you can say you have no regrets, then you have realised your ambitions and happiness.

It's nice, especially at my age, to be able to say I have no regrets. For me, it means I’ve taken enough risks, had enough disappointments, exercised enough freedom, tried enough things, had enough adventures and successes to know that there are few things I wish I had done in my life but didn't attempt.
I never find myself wishing I'd had the courage or nerve to have taken a shot but didn't. I'm not saying there is nothing left of experience, or no new things to learn. In fact, I interviewed this afternoon for a teaching position at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. (I just completed a course at there this week) One of my colleagues was honored by the university last Sunday afternoon for being the outstanding teacher of the year at Saint Mary's. I was so impressed with what I heard at the ceremony about the school that I want to teach there. I'm sure there will be an opportunity to do so in the future, even though they have no openings at the moment. I love to teach because it stimulates my mind and I get to tell stories and share my experiences with the next generation of therapists.
