Joseph did a great job today. He fielded very well, he threw well and made good contact at the plate. I didn't get a chance to see how well he hit the ball because I was taking pictures.
It was actually snowing at our house when we left to go to the fields. Amazing that we're out playing baseball and it's snowing. I'm not sure when the season starts but practices should start within a couple of weeks. The season will begin most likely in April and go through the end of May.

Last year, it never seemed to get warm during the season. Joseph's team made it to the championship for 7-8 year-olds and that was in the last week of May and it was in the 30's that game. Our team ended up forfeiting the game because one of our players got injuried and had to be taken to the hospital. I thought that the lesson learned by forfeiting was a better lesson than if they had won the Championship.
