Joseph, my nine year-old, has been asked to take a placement test for the gifted and talented program in our schools. He was requested last year but forgot to bring the paper work home and by the time we found out, it was too late.Joseph is a very bright child. While he always has been bright, I have felt he has not always been challenged in school. Hopefully, he'll do well on the test and will be more challenged.

That's great! I'm glad he'll get a chance to take the test and hopefully get more out of school. It's more fun when you learn and it's so important to know how to learn. Challenge is important! Good for Joseph!
