One of those days

Sometimes it seems like one of those days. We're (me and my wife) are dealing with the possibility of no quality child care as of January 17th.

On top of having to deal with the prospects of finding child care, I have found myself not being able to be as much help finding child care as a should be because I'm training two new sales people this week. And I don't think it would be right for me to be working on personal things instead of training and teaching them. I can't let them get the wrong idea. Of course, I think they and anyone else would understand, but you never know.

Then today two phone calls, two cancellations. Total money per month canceled: $1,506.25 per month. That's a big hit. And both clients that canceled were my clients. And my biggest client isn't placing an order with us this month. Ouch.

I know I can get out there and make up this money. I just don't know if I can make up this money this month. I'll make it up by February. But I think my January goal may be harder to reach now.

Hopefully, the tax preparers will advertise a bit more than last year and that can make up this money for the next couple of months.

Man! Talk about a bad week! I hope you can get childcare for the boys. I understand about not wanting to give the new guys the wrong idea. Unfortunately, not everyone puts their kids before work - or not everyone has kids. And then to lose ad sales?
